Ever have one of those days, when you just feel down? And really annoyed with people, and really tired of everything, the general uncertainty of life? Ever feel like you just don't care? Yeah, that's me right about now. I'm in a funk, and I think it's partially from being tired, having caught a mild cold, feeling like I'm behind on unit

Marriage, eh?! Hmmmm, that is a tough one. I wouldn't think living with them is the happiest option for you. But maybe a job will open up next semester? It does happen, so keep your hopes up!

I don't have any real advice about classroom management, because I'm dealing with it as well. And according to the advice I've been given, every teacher goes through it. In the past week I've become much more assertive than I ever thought I could. Just remember how to approach bad behavior, and make sure to praise the "bad" kid when he does behave. I did that Friday and could tell it made a difference.

One thing I did that worked well. The students wouldn't stop yapping and get to work. So I got a detention slip out and slammed it on the desk. Work ethic improved instantly! lol
