Focus on the fact that you made it to the second round, cause that's very hard to do! I got a second interview in Birch Run, and I had to teach a 20 min lesson. I walked out super confident, sure i had got the job, but was called the next morning to tell me they chose someone else. I was bummed for a day, but now I'm back on track. I have an interview Monday in Lakewood, and I will hear back Friday regarding a job in Manistee.

Stay confident. I'm tellin ya, some schools want experience but many others ONLY want new teachers. It just depends on the school. Keep trying!

Actually, it wasn't a second interview. I was only given that 15 min screener. Somehow, they'd managed to narrow it down to 11 people to screen, and I was one of them. I went first, and they seemed to remember me partly because of that. I'll have to remember that.

Anyway, I think my luck is just beginning... but we shall see. I have a feeling something's going to happen soon. ;)

Good luck to you! HOpe you're successful in finding a job in state! I think the west side of the state is better off that the east as far as competition goes, cause we have Detroit lay offs and some 37 or so schools that were closed. I could be wrong though.
