Wanting to see it MORE AND MORE.

Gah. I hate being housebound. May find alternate method. It took me eating delicately for 3 days to be able to do my 1-hour doctor's appointment on Tuesday, and I already had missed a previous one.

I am so looking forward to seeing the movie. I wanted to wait a week or two, just to avoid the screaming fans, but waiting is hard!

I've only read the first book, and I read it a few months ago because the trailer for the movie looked so awesome.

"One of the things that has a lot of critics hating the movie is the shaky, unfocused camera work."

Shaky, unfocused camera work has been the rage ever since "Blair Witch". Maybe people are just feeling Technique Overload, regardless of whether it works for any particular film.

In this case, though, it's used effectively. It's not the entire movie, (the Capitol scenes are steady and sharp) and it's used to mark a specific perspective. I thought it was an effective technique to divide the two, and not an effect used for effect's sake.
