Resting or relaxing? For rest, I do have a comfortable bed. My aunt and uncle bought me one of those memory foams many years back and it's lovely. My pillow's not so great. I'll be replacing that soon as my neck and right shoulder have gone to hell recently. I tend to go to bed early and get 7-8 hours. Anything else and I'm not very functional ( ... )

The gratitude jar sounds like one of those cute ideas that might help, but really it is the most amazing thing. It fills up after three months and I will read through all of them once before I dump them out and start over. Finding something positive on even the bleakest days is so good for your soul.

One of them from January to March said, "Today was 100% better than yesterday." And I can't even remember what was so bad from the day before because too much time has passed. But, I loved reading the change from one day to another.

I have a box that I used to fill with meaningful (or funny) sayings that I heard or read somewhere. So it was similar to your gratitude jar in that reading them later would lift my mood. I don't actively use it anymore but I still have it.

I can't believe I missed last week's SPAM. I really am trying to remember because I have missed this community. I'm throwing this in since I missed the photo SPAM. I'm at work so my Pictures folder is mostly images of museum artifacts but I have two in a folder labeled "For Fun." Here is a pic that I posted to Facebook after tRump's election or inauguration.

I think I'm very lucky because I tend to fall asleep easily when I need rest. I don't always sleep enough, but that's my own fault for staying up late watching tv, for example, or sometimes I'm writing job applications at 3am... I can always take naps during the day, though ( ... )

I have some Moana Lego but haven't seen the film!

And wow, I love that live feed of Petra. They have the Acropolis in Athens too but I didn't check all of the others.

I figured you might like the Petra webcam :).

I almost didn't go to see Moana, and in hindsight that would have been a pity. I'm definitely going to buy the DVD when it becomes available.
