I just saw 'Pan's Labyrinth'. My God! It was the most inventive, evocative, extraordinary, artistically divine film I have seen in a LONG time. The power that Guillermo Del Toro brought to the screen is beyond words. Every element about the film wasn't only entertaining, but subtly brought forth important issues while utilizing symbolism

Oy, and the scene with Mercedes and the capitán in the barn...gruesome, and brilliant.
