Alright, originally this was going to be a reply on Danny's slight X-Men post, then Matt put up his paragraph and I was conflicted on where to comment so I decided to donate a whole post to it which sucks because this movie wasn't deserving of a full post at all but here goes

agreed on many levels.

I like the Kelsey Gramar and Ben Foster (who I still love from Flash Foward) casting but they need their own movie. Let's see the Archangel storyline. That's what's angel is famous for.

Colossus is Russian. The Hammer and Sickle used to be on his fucking costume. At least give him a shitty accent, anything is better than a fucking frat boy.

Kitty/Iceman which was cool and some ways was ruined by the Ice Skating scene.

The only thing I will say is that Jean being immortal and not seeing scott actually die is obviously a lead in to the fact that her death is obviously a cheap movie fake-out, since we all know they still have to do it at least once more so that Jean can give birth to the Pheonix in the form of her daughter, hence also the shot not working. Which would seem completely fucking obvious to me, the effect of the Leech was only temporary in person, I don't see why the shot would be different
