Congratulations Bryan Singer, while you may have made a pretty decent comic book movie you've also made the worlds first entertaining chick flick. So, I'm totally in the dark about Spiderman 3...I have heard many things a few of them being 1) Topher Grace is Venom (to which I promptly threw up) 2. Thomas Hayden Church (of Wings fame) is the Sandman 3) Mary Jane dies in this one.

Is any of that true? And how bad ass does the black suit/venom look?!

1) Topher Grace IS Venom but in the trailer you just see him as Eddie Brock for a split sec and if you ever read Ultimate Spider Man they nailed the Brock look 2)Thomas Hayden Church IS the Sandman and this trailer made the Sandman look badass, it looks kinda like the sand monster from the Mummy except done right 3) According to recent online speculation/spoilers Mary Jane does NOT die in this one but, Gwen Stacy (played by Ron Howard's daughter)is also in this flick and we all know she's D.O.A. Goblin fodder to begin with. In the trailer they do show Harry Osbourne as the new Goblin and thankfully he's missing the Power Rangers mask that Dafoe donned in the first movie. The black suit in action is practically what made the whole trailer. They made this look more like the story of Peter Parker finding the symbiote suit and turning evil. Speculation/spoilers from the net (as well as a rumored fan interview from Sam Raimi) say that Venom won't show up in all his multifanged glory until the end OR third act.
