LFS - Set in Normandy

Hello!  I am trying to find a wonderful story I read long ago - I remember a title but I am not sure if it's the title of the story I want, but it may be Loch Ness's "And Then Some".  The story is set in Normany where Duncan has gone to heal his soul, he's withdrawn from everyone after so much loss.  He is taken in by a family there, eventually

The story you're looking for is Phoenix Fire by Chris. It's in her Ignifer series, but there's only one other short fic in that series.
It's one of my absolute favorite HL stories!

i don't know where you can find it online now...? Chris has a couple of stories (but not this one) on hlfiction.net Maybe you can contact her through that site?

Just wanted to say thank you! The email link on hlfiction.net was still good, and she sent me the story, which I just spent a whole day reading. I tried to gently nudge her into posting her stories to AO3 and she seemed open to it, so fingers crossed.
