I'd point out that BC isn't too much of a problem, as long as you use Douglas Adams' take on the situation ("two thousand years after some guy got nailed to a tree for for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change..."), but the phrase AD is only inclusive if all historians are Christian. And sometimes non-Christian people get sensitive about those sorts of things.

Good luck on your tests. Though I think my mother got a bit snarky about it, I enjoyed our conversation the time you came through. It gave me a buch to think about. And I certainly need something to think about other than the sinking ship I work at.

Thanks for the good thoughts, Watts. That is a point that non-Christians might get offended, but consider my general sensitivity level :-P. I enjoyed hanging out with you and your parents alot. That's another reason why I'd like to get out of here and get back home where I can spend more time with old friends. Remember to wear that life preserver whilst hanging out aboard your sinking ship!
