I've actually been playing with another character since last November. I came back last fall. I was scanning the HMD pages for people I knew and saw this one. Thought I'd comment. That's all. Wasn't looking to start anything nasty.

I miss more people than you probably realize. Why the anon?

I don't mean to be nasty. I'm sorry if I have been. You're one of maybe two Uhuras who do justice to the character. But I'm anon because isn't that what these things are for? Honesty in the form of anonymity. You hurt some people when you went radio silent. If you've been active since November, that's even worse, because you hurt people by no longer communicating. Why haven't you tried to reconnect?

No, no. Not that YOU were being nasty, just that I wasn't looking to start trouble. ♥

I had surgery, then I had chemo and radiation.You remember, I used to sit in the car for hours to play with you guys. If I COULD have, I would have. Seriously. When I came back, I was told that I wasn't wanted around anymore. That the game had moved on. I still have the messages in my inbox.

Congratulations on being done with your treatment, though I'm pretty sure me telling you that doesn't come close to having it said to you by the doctor. I knew you'd get through this, even if it has been rough.

Unfortunately, I think we're going to look for another Uhura. We've had some questions of activity regarding her and I think it would be best.

I kind of took that as not being wanted and let it go. In January, I had more surgery and was out another three weeks. That's all that's happened. I've missed you guys. I didn't mean to disappear so fully... I don't know what to say.
