The Second of Fourteen... I hope,,,
This is the first of hopefully thirteen songs I have planned about my original characters.
To give you a bit of back-story: The song is from the point of view of Cain Peterson, who is a mantic (In the universe he lives in, that's an enchanter with the ability to channel different elements in order to see the future or divine the truth.) The song was inspired by a series of stories I wrote about the formation of his relationship with another character, Gabriel Walker. The idea behind both the song and the stories is that Cain needs Gabe, not just because he loves him, but because he's a source of balance, control and strength for Cain in regards to his magic. I might write a reply song from Gabe's pov, since Gabe needs Cain just as badly.
