Hannah I really enjoyed your interpretation of The Clod and The Pebble and the way you express Blake's views on the need for opposites in the world. Love is never easy, neither is life, but I guess that's the point right? The universe purposely challenges us so as to make us stronger and test us, especially in tricky situations like these where you hope with all your heart that the person is going to want to change, not for you or for anyone other than himself. The nature of humanity is to be kind, at the end of the day nobody wants to be hurt.Though just as Blake demonstrates in The Clod and The Pebble one cannot exist without the other, otherwise we would not be able to learn and grow and ultimately become better people ( ... )
