Not Quite Following the Rules

A couple of my friends here on LJ posted a Douglas Adams quotation (NOT quote, damn it) as part of a meme wherein I am supposed to post a Douglas Adams quotation in my LJ after seeing the meme. I am posting three quotations that are attributed to him and I have never even made it through "The Hitchhiker's Guide..." let alone any of his other books

Douglas Adams is WRONG WRONG WRONG. It's "pronking" not "stotting" and no self-respecting poodle would be caught dead doing it.
