Seriously, is it me or was that just rather unbelievable? "Should your start-up be included?" UGH.

Oh, I paid no attention to the bookends, except for when they scared me with the possibility of playing James Brown's music. Not that the music they did play do anything for me, but I kind of liked the incongruity of the music with the dancing, which may or may not have been intentional.

(Incidentally, one of the guys dancing at the very beginning of that video, in the Satori Labs segment, is a personal friend of mine. He's the founder of the company, and I used to be very close friends with his wife back in high school and college. So THERE's your useful venture-capital-influenced bit of OzyTrivia for the day.)

We are still friends, but they live in San Jose and I live in Indianapolis, so we don't see each other very often any more. I just got a nice happy-birthday-wishes email from her yesterday, though, so it's not like we're On The Outs or nuthin'.

I have other icons. k_sui HATES my Oolong one, so I rarely use it, because I am NICE.

Mine is perfect--it isn't ugly to look at, yet it bespeaks a certain paradigm. Also, you know it is me instantly when you are scrolling down your friends page, so it adds to the ease of skipping my entries. I am nothing if not accommodating.
