My Cambodian officemate LOVED Balut! She said the cambodian name was different, but that was the Filipino name. She said that the little 3rd trimester embryos were tastiest with a little bit of lemon juice and salt.

I never had Balut either, but she made me stewed duck feet. I know what ducks step in, but it was good anyways.

I made tasty pan-seared yellowfin tuna with lime-and-spearmint mayonnaise last night, and it was REALLY tasty. The Mayonnaise sounds disgusting, but let me tell you - a little bit of it really compliments the fish well. Give it a try sometime. (You make the mayonnase yourself, not just add crap to Helman's. Check my blog for the recipe)
