Listed are books, movies, and theater productions I read/saw for the first time* in 2012 (there were some books/movies that I did not feel comfortable awarding an enjoyment rating due to its contents):
It was okay. At times I was only moderately entertained, but all in all it was good fun. I thought it was much more action-oriented than the last film, so even less ... Sherlock Holmesy. If that makes sense.
OMG, YES. I AM IN LOVE WITH THAT BOOK. SO IN LOVE. We had to read it freshman year for European History, and I remember that I couldn't put it down. And when I finished I was ... speechless? Because I thought I was going to DETEST having to read it again, but instead I fell completely in love. *_*
Yeah I read it fgor a book report in 8th grade I think, then in 9th grade for class, and then again (though I didn't read all of it the third time, lol) for my Freshman seminar class in college, "Coming of Age in 29th Century Germany"! ;) I love it so much, I didn't mind the rereads either, so haunting, and probably part of why I am big into WWI...
I read it in 7th grade (the beginning of 7th grade, to make it even worse), and I a) DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE BOOK AT ALL and b) was completely disgusted by the details of war. So I had really negative feelings for the book. Thank God I was forced to reread it!
