Today, my psych professor gave me the wrong test back. I left before I realized it. The test I got was Kristina's, not Christine's, as the teacher thought.

This Kristina got a 69%, which would be very unlikely for me, especially in psych.

When my mother asked me how I did on the test, I told her I didn't know because of said mixup.

Her response was basically under the assumption that I got a 69%. You know, "Christine, you have to try harder and study and college isn't all fun and games and you shouldn't be partying and I don't think you should go out and why did you do poorly and it's not the same as high school..."

It took all I had not to scream, "BUT I DIDN'T GET A 69%!!!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I GOT!!! STOP HASSLING ME!!!"

The weekend was fantasmic, although I did start to feel that tension building between Dana and I near the end.

And--I promise I won't mention it again, but it feels wonderful to have finally had a random (and innocent) college hook up. I mean, all we did was kiss, but it was really, really fun. And anonymous, which is nice, too, because I didn't have to win him over with any sort of indie-music knowledge or sarcasm or all the other stupid conversation shit that I use to try and define myself.

Stop. I almost fell over a self-deprecating edge there.

I'm happy if you are.

Are you happy?
