I love how it gets harder to keep track of the days during summer. Makes titling my LJ entries kinda difficult. But I like letting the days kinda roll by without really giving a crap.
So.. these days, I look back at some of my friends who used to be on lj a lot more and then stopped around junior year. And I didn't really understand it before I was a junior, and then it hit me :P. Basically, I have a lot less time to be bored during the schoolyear. And if I AM bored, it's because I'm procrastinating work and try not to get involved with things that'll make me lose track of time. like lj. BUT NOW IT'S ALL OVER, BWAHAHAHAH.
But now school's over! And I'm free for another 6 days until the EE course starts :P. But I think that will actually be enjoyable. Get to see friends, get to actually research something I'm interested in... I also get my license test next Wednesday, and then I'll have FREEDOM (because my mom will be on a trip so it looks like I'll have her car for the first week or so that I have my license XD ). Then my dual-enrollment class starts, which I'm hoping I'll really enjoy. It's only for two days a week. I really wish I could get a job this summer so I could have a little more freedom with my spending without feeling guilty about always asking my parents for money. Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't really permit for that, because I'll probably be away on trips for most of the weekends in July.
And it looks like I have a new novio. :) It's dumb as hell, because he's going away from the entire month of July, and then goes off to college in like Aug/Sep, but.. I don't know how much I care about that. I guess I'm just enjoying it for what it's worth right now, and he makes me happy, so that's enough for me.
Things I want to do / get to do this summer:
-read. i want to get through some of the books that have been stacked on my dresser for ages.
-visit friends once I have my license
-work out... running and getting my arms in shape for conducting XD
-set up this speaker system in my room that i got for my birthday and haven't had time to deal with
-arrange some stuff for marching band next year (a very tedious task)
-find a horn instructor and practice a LOT
-get most of the way done with my EE
-summer work (college journals, lots of school reading)
-get through those video games that i still haven't gotten back to dimitar because i said i wanted to finish them... hahah
