Today I volunteered at Gumbo Limbo. I wanted to ride my bike there but when we pulled it out and filled up the tires, the front one was uhhh.. shot. Dad fixed it while I was gone so it should be good for next week

Its been proven that because your senses speed up when under stress, you experience time as something longer (slower) than you normally would. If you're interested though, you could try placing yourself under eustress to try and achieve the same effect. I bet its possible...
That & once when I was in the Gumbo Limbo summer camp, I saw an old guy walk into a four-inch wide banana spider web and without realizing it, drive away with a giant poisonous spider on his back. O.O
ehh.. gumbo limbo isn't stress. gumbo limbo is the complete absence of stress. unless like.. talking to people counts. i kinda feel like the opposite is true though.. when i take tests in school they go by REALLY fast (course I'm probably immune to test-induced stress right now, so i don't know..)
hahah, weird stuff happens at that place sometimes. when we were in.. probably middle school or late elementary school, i had a baby fox try and crawl up in my lap on the boardwalk. cutest thing ever! but still strange.
