Last Harry Potter movie

I finally watched the last Harry Potter movie and I was pretty bummed. I told myself at the end of the sixth movie that I wasn't gonna go watch the final two and it wasn't because I couldn't bear to see the end of such a fantastic series.

It was due to the complete lack of disappointment in the sixth movie on practically omitting the main battle at the end of the book. We didn't get to see any magical wizardry between the Order and the Death Eaters where one of the results of the fight was Bill's change of nature. And don't get me started on a certain supporting character's death . It was so disappointing.
So one year late, my sister bought the movie and there we sat, eyes glued to screen. Some of the scenes were great, but the transition from the book to the big screen wasn't so impressive.I understand there are time restraints in movies and scenes do need to be cut, but do they have to take from the fight scenes? I know the movie would drag if everything was included, but I wanted to see a more impressive fight between Mrs. Weasly the mom vs. Bellatrix, Voldemort's leading lady. At least, Neville's part didn't get too butchered and downsized in the movie.

I'm just glad that I didn't watch part one and just went straight to part two. I guess I shouldn't expect too much when books are adapted into movies. Still, you can't help but hope for the best.
