I am currently sitting on a small deck outside of a condo, enjoying a full view of the Charlevoix lakeshore. I can see the dim, thin shadow of Beaver Island far in the distance. The mostly overcast sky holds either a bit of rain or a spectacular sunset; possibly both

well i have thought about what i think about that and there is a lot to write (all of which suddenly make no sense when i try to write them down- or when i think about them for that matter), but i found an interesting website that you might mull over.

my biggest thought, though, is how i will see you in um, 2 weeks or so, and how i am pretty excited about that! we have a little catching up to do i am sure.

i have to also apologize for sending you a postcard and lower casing everything including your name but capitalizing my own name. i agonized over that for a few minutes before someone reassured me that you wouldn't notice. of course now i am pointing it out, but i couldn't deal with not knowing whether or not you knew and or were possibly offended. i promise it was a mistake. i always get carried away with my highfalutin signature. (i am now trying to clean up my mess in the subject line).

see you sooner than we both know and call me when you get back to the coast! let me know if you need help with rides or anything
