HENRY MCCOY
bluepurrymuffin | X-Men/Avengers/Defenders/Marvel 616
Beast. Hank is a teammate and fellow scientific mind. Although their specialties and areas of expertise differ greatly, Stephen and Hank usually get along. Stephen thinks Hank gets too emotionally invested in any given case, and Hank thinks Stephen is too detached, but it's all good. And Beast is a reliable teammate, so seriously, no issue here.
THOR
godofnicehair | Thor/Avengers/Marvel 616
The fabled thunder god of Asgard. As a doctor, Strange couldn't help but be skeptical of Thor's claim of godhood. Then again, as a mystic, Strange has seen far stranger things. In various dimensions. Strange has great respect for Thor's power and commanding presence, but doesn't know much about him other than that. Of course, there are stories but that's not really something you want to bring up during a mission briefing.
TONY STARK
iron_liver | Iron Man/Avengers/Marvel 616
Iron Man. Supposed leader of the Avengers, entrepreneur, and terrible person with the best of intentions. Again, great respect for Tony's brilliance, charisma, and pimpin' facial hair, but why does he have to be such a bad person so often? Strange is separated enough from the superhero community to appreciate the "greater good" Tony was trying to work for, but still didn't approve. They did work together effective in the Illuminati, however, proving that he can at least separate his disapproval of Tony's politics from their interpersonal relationship. Still. Son, I am disappoint.
BOBBI MORSE
mockingbirdie | Avengers/Marvel 616
Mockingbird. Actual leader of the Avengers, biochemist, and generally good woman. Bobbi doesn't take shit from most people and Strange respects that. Still he knows her, but doesn't really know her.
WANDA LENSHERR
tothebalkans | Dropped | Ultimates
The Scarlet Witch. Complicated. This Wanda wasn't his Wanda, but she's still obviously a force that shouldn't be taken lightly. The Scarlet Witch is simultaneously intriguing and gives Strange the heebee jeebees. In any universe.
PARKER ROBBINS
hoodalumnus | Avengers/Marvel 616
The Hood. A tragically unbalanced young man. Parker tried to steal Strange's priceless mystic talismans and kill his teammates. Even so, they get along fairly decently in the City. If fairly decently means that they haven't tried to kill each other (yet), and snark at each other whenever the opportunity presents itself.
AMANDA WALLER
bigreveal | DC/Suicide Squad
An associate and possibly more of Hank McCoy. Gruff, no nonsense, competent and authoritative. Not exactly the type of person Stephen expected Hank to gravitate toward, but people do all sorts of odd things. A person worth knowing in the City.
ZATANNA ZATARA
fishnets | DC
A flirt and a tease and otherwise massive source of frustration. Zatanna is a very interesting person to Stephen and not just because she's a hot magical chick. She has a freedom to her that's very appealing (and, at times, trying). On a professional level, she's adept at her craft and fascinating to carry on a discussion with. On a personal level... Well, it's complicated.
PETER PARKER
incywincyhero | Marvel
Spider-Man. That awkward nephew you can never really be sure will end up okay. Stephen's known Spider-Man since he was literally a kid. He's taken Spidey on adventures though time and space and the webhead has proved himself generally competent. He could stand to talk less, but that's true of most young people so whatever. Basically Spidey will forever be about 16 in Stephen's head. Forever.
GEMMA DOYLE
sorcerously | That Sweet Far Thing
A woman with a magical aptitude and not nearly enough control. Overall, Gemma reminds Stephen very much of a young Wanda Maximoff and that's a very scary thought. She's sweet and sensitive, but underneath it all lies an ability she has yet to really master. Her status in the City is worth noting, to say the least.
LUNA LOVEGOOD
i_seethestrals | Harry Potter
A student of witchcraft and wizardry. Luna comes from a world where magic is the norm, which is quite fascinating to Stephen. She's aloof, but never unpleasant, and often quite insightful.
JESSICA DREW
arakhnes | Ultimates
Spider-Woman. Stephen only knows Jessica Drew as that lovely (if slightly awkward) girl he took to dinner that one time he was de-aged and made a total ass of himself. If be bother to, he could probably piece together the Spider aspect, but he really doesn't care all that much. Oddly enough, since he was more chatty as a young cad, she probably knows the most about his family background out of anyone in the City. Huh.
ZOIDBERG
crabulous | Futurama
Your good friend, Zoidberg! Once upon a time, Zoidberg was a mild (if sometimes entertaining) annoyance. Then his best buddy Bender screwed up a spell Stephen was casting and caused all of pigeons and rats in New York to attack humans. Now Stephen avoids him like the plague, but the good Doctor still somehow works at his Yogurt Shop and just kind of.. Turns up expecting to be fed. Um. Yeah.
BENDER
bendersgotback | Futurama
A lowlife and associate of Dr. Zoidberg. Stephen avoids him after the pigeon incident. Like a lot. There is nothing of value to be gained here, get out.
FRED WEASLEY
notsaintly | Harry Potter
One of Stephen's matching set of protogés. Fred is the brother of George and all three (Fred, George, and Stephen) are business partners. He randomly appears in Stephen's pantry to steal tea, or is that George? He's also more polite than his brother, though Stephen might have that one backwards as well.
GEORGE WEASLEY
byholeystgeorge | Harry Potter
The second half of the set. George is Fred's brother and Stephen's other business partner. He's the less polite of the pair, maybe. Who knows.
CALLIE MAGGOTBONE
maggotbone | Ugly Americans
Some sort of public worker and, oh yeah, a succubus. Callie is interesting and she and Strange sort of kind of flirt on occasion? They've never met face to face, but she's always good for network conversations and he wouldn't mind actually meeting her. If only to see if her skin is actually that pink, or if it's some weird camera thing. You can never really tell.
DEXTER MORGAN
creepyshitking | Dexter
A forensic scientist. Strange doesn't know much about Dexter other than that he's quiet and only half entertains the notion that magic really exists. There's something more to him, but Stephen's pretty content not to pry and Dexter just doesn't give much away.
CAROL DANVERS
bests | Marvel 616/New Avengers
Ms. Marvel. Stephen's known Carol for a while now. She's a good woman, very capable, and pretty, too. She's sort of a teammate, sort of a friendly acquaintance, and there was that one time he possessed her cat. Look, it just happened that way.
