As she waited for Alex to return Olivia could practically hear the lawyer arguing with herself about what she should say. A couple of firmly shut cabinet doors and a slammed refrigerator later Alex came back with two tall glasses of ice water.  The inquiry as to where Olivia had apparently won the dispute.

"I went out for lunch." Olivia

Loving the story and I full understand the writer block thing. I have a good Alex/Liv story that has stalled due to a nasty case of block!

This was a great chapter--hard to read, though because the tension and strain was so realistically portrayed and felt so genuine. Hope they're back together soon!
