sorry if i ruined the celebratory mood you were aiming for buddy. i hope you don't take my disappointment personally, because i was glad to have you by my side tonight for sure. it wasn't that you weren't enough, it was just tought that the majority of people that i care about couldn't or wouldn't be here with us tonight. i can only say that your efforts to help are appreciated even if they're often repelled. i'm just me and that's all i can be. happy new years fucker :p how bout another shot to help us forget such a crappy year and pretend we can hope for a better one to come?

i wish mark and i could have spend new years with you and karun. instead we spent it with a bunch of strangers. we were even in michigan on new years eve day. i guess we should have taken the train to your side of the state instead of back to chicago.

but anways, it's sometime in january, why aren't you ringing our doorbell yet?

happy new years karun!

new years has always been my least favorite holiday. in fact, i dread new years. i secretly wish i could spend it asleep in bed and pretending like it was just another regular night. i have a hard time getting into that optimistic state, cos i just think about all the things i didn't improve on and so on and so forth.

anyways, i hope you do have a good 2006 anyways.

hey, it's sometime in january, where are you?
