Today on the news it was saying how Governor Lynch was passing a new bill legalizing gay marriage/civil unions (I'm not sure which). My mom was outraged, yelling at the television. I was in the other room and pretended not to notice. Later my brother came in and started joking about how stupid gay marriage is. I pretended not to care.

1st of all. woah i had no idea the gov. did that. Im kind of really happy.

2nd- im sorry you have to deal with your parents with stuff like that, having catholic parents myself i can deffinitly relate.

It's so frustrating to read that... you are such an amazing person and it really bothers me that people can't just love you for that!! Because they should!! Arrggh. I'm so sorry you have to live in such an oppressive environment, and as much as I realize this is not comforting now, I think the experience will make you stronger in the end. Just don't forget how many people out there love you!!
