Did more driving tonight, this time alone (though I'm pretty sure Jesus was in the seat next to me the entire time...) and once with mom to alleviate any fears she may have concerning my driving skills. "Kitty" is my friend Catherine.* She also is a new driver.
On that note, I am glad that driving is starting to make sense. The combination of such a memorable paint job and so many bad driving mistakes probably would have gotten my car keyed if it went on much longer.
Hooray for stupid driving mistakes that remind us of our humanity (and sometimes our mortality!) and thanks to the Lord who protects us even in our stupidity!
*Other names that I might use are... Cat, Dr. Jackson, Carter, or Macguyver. All of these are nicknames for Catherine, usually said in fun because she shares attributes of them.*
