Do you remember the write-in campaign for Morris the Cat? I'm voting for the one that scares me the least. And I actually find Obama to be inspiring, and I am hopeful. I don't want to watch network tv for the next 5 weeks... the recriminations have just become so vitriolic.

Unfortunately, I doubt we'll get a third-party candidate that will fit the bill, though it would be nice to see the Dems and the GOP have to respond to a genuine third party. I could vote for Gandalf though, especially Gandalf the White. That would be so cool!

I really, really want a t-shirt that says "Don't blame me, I voted for Bill and Opus." It's as relevant today as it was when I saw it in 1988.
