I try not to fill LJ with my doll obsession, that's what the blog is for after all but I did rather like these two pics from today's wee "photoshoot" so you'll have to suffer :)
I'm a bear person rather than a doll person, but those do look like attractive dolls. Good proportions, pleasant expressions, and nicely dressed as well.
They are rather special (and as a former bear person I can appreciate both, though there are more cute bears than attractive dolls out there for sure..)
Cuddly critters do, on average, probably cost a little less, though? (I've a feeling there's a Build-a-Bear card in my wallet that needs spending sometime...)
Probably, except I was a big fan of the jointed mohair bears which get about as pricey as the dolls (£70-£120 for the dolls i like, usually about £50-60 for the best of the bears...*wince*). Mind you even Charlie bears are pretty pricey. though good to drool at :) Have yet to explopre build a bear as I always seem to time it when its full of hyper kids, yay for htem having fun, less yay for me trying not to trip over squealing tinies *giggle*
Been there, done that, been surrounded by glassy-eyed furry things *g* One of the few upsides of there being fewer really nice dolls out there compared to the hundreds of "love me, take me home now!" bears out there :)so are you surrounded by them?
