Because they are jealous fangirls, who can't realize that this woman makes Elijah happy. Even if they know they'll never be with him, they still want him to be single, because that gives a tiny, almost invisible hope, I guess.

yeah, i dont get it either.
probably the dont think anyone is good enough for him (except themselves) so they find little things and exaggerate about them. oh well, i think she seems nice and all. good for him he found someone :)
