the aftermath of promotion

Oh, god... I actually am familiar with that song! And here I thought they would play "I am, I cried" - *L*!

Lord, girl, it was like you were speaking a foreign language. I am clearly not up with the avant garde. What Showtime show is that that Ira Glass (composer of modernist minimalist music, correct?) moved to NYC to do? And was Egger serious about picking up the wrong guitar - and knowing whose it was? Wow... sounds like a very surrealistic evening, but right up your alley - *G*.

p.s. email me your address! And, I have at least 6 of the buttons; do you think you can find people who want them? If so, I'll send you them all (except a 7th, which I'll keep for myself!).

You're thinking of Phillip Glass, who Ira is related to, but Ira is the host of the NPR show This American Life. Anyway, they're doing a tv series based on some of the episodes.

John Roderick was the one with the "wrong guitar" story... and it wasn't actually, he was just joking. :)

Oh yeah, and will email you! Sorry about that.

*smacks forehead* Thank you!!! I WAS thinking of Philip Glass. Wow, talented duo! Ah, the move from NPR to TV; I can see why that would be a bit daunting, along with going to NY.

Ah, darn... would have been pretty funny if he had picked up theirs - *G*. Obviously he knew they were (or would be) in town.
