I must say, the best concerts are performed by people who look like they're having a good time, and the Decemberists always look like they're having an absolute blast.

So, did you see Colin's baby and wife in the balcony?

We definitely saw a wife and child, as well as a bunch of other family which we assumed were Chris' family from Valpo (they come up to Chicago shows often). We saw Chris and his wife(?) with a baby before the show, so I don't know if there were two babies up there or not (Colin's and Chris'?). But we weren't studying the balcony very much. :)
