The scent of a summer's night...

Hobbitmum has a lot of scented plants in her garden. Philadelphus, honeysuckle... And tonight, as it was warm, the scent was amazing. I really wish I could capture and transmit that wonderful aroma to everyone, because it was stunning.

Of course, she can't go out there, because the heavy scent sets her hay fever off, but hey! I liked it...!

I know how she feels, my east chain link fence is covered every year with honeysuckle but I don't have a sense of smell. Looks pretty and Petzi Sis says it has a very sweet smell.

Mmmm...I love a scented garden. I have Night Jessamine, jasmine, honeysuckle, orange blossom (in season), roses...yes, I'd have been sitting out there with you.
