I took a shower and then changed into different PJs.
It looks like fall outside.
Yesterday at around 6 o'clock it was mid-August, but I still don't know if I got into Honors.
The atomic clock in my living room is wrong.

All of those things sounded important when they were in my brain. Nevermind.

I hope so, too. Honors is where the cool kids are.

Also, something about getting a good education and going to a good college and having a good job and living a productive life. But that stuff isn't really important.

Yeah, I know. I feel completely disconnected from all of that 'future'-y business. Trey Parker said something about it in Bowling for Columbine, but I forget the quote at this moment.

Something about dying poor and lonely if you don't make it into honors in 8th grade.

Yeah. I vaguely remember that. It is the common perception, too, I think, that your life will be ruined if you don't get into the good classes.

My parents have decided that I got in. We'll see if the school agrees with them soon enough, I suppose.

I got into "Honors," if you will, at my school. It's really great and I like it a lot and in addition, you're about 6 or 7 times smarter than me so you'll get into Honors no problem. No problemo. If I knew how to say that in Croatian, I would.

My essay was sucktastic and my ITED (or whatever we took this year) scores were...average, I think. Time will tell.

It was a painful moment. The thing was right this morning, but it somehow got off by an hour.

I wrote THE WORST essay of my life and I know I won't get in to Honors, but I still just want the little letter. The confirmation note that says I suck and that I should try again year.

Fall seems depressing right now. I'm in Los Angeles and they don't really have seasons... Only winter and construction... so I couldn't really tell you what the season was if someone asked... That was a long and pointless thought. Anyways... What makes it seem like fall?

When I wrote this, it was gray outside...and it looked cold, though I never confirmed that. Now it is gray, cold-looking, and rainy. Fall or winter, take your pick.

It's rainy? Weird. I haven't seen rain... or a rain cloud for that matter... in months. Well. One and a half months... That counts as plural. Right.
