the black dahlia murder are bad ass live, i saw the preview for the movie about the black dahlia actual murder it looks pretty sweet.

yeah black dahlia are like one of my top 3 favorite bands. yeah i heard about the movie but i didn't know when it was coming out or anything. it should be sweet. the story itself is pretty fucking brutal.

Gwar aren't legends because their music is any good. Gwar was all about the show - I don't know if they did a full-on show like they used to, but they used to enact all the shit that all the other "metal" bands would only sing about.

If you think they fucking sucked, it's because you were too busy holding them to your pseudo-intellectual metal scene-kid bullshit standards.

Sorry, not to rag on you too much. But all the metal these days sounds (and LOOKS) the fucking same, and I don't get when people write off a band that's legendary for DOING SOMETHING WAY DIFFERENT.

God forbid a metal band would actually leave the black eyeliner at home.
