OTOH you're exactly right about everybody liking Bush for all the things he's royally f*cked up. It's bizarre.

On the other hand, Kerry's ideas might just make it into reality. He could have bills passed that cap drug prices and things like that (though how well they would fly is a different story). Granted, the prez has no direct control, but presidential opinions and agendas are usually complimented by Congress.

What I really want to know is why NO ONE has asked kerry 2 simple questions. One, how are you going to deal with a republican congress, and two, what are you going to do when france and germany don't come rushing to your aid.

And I suspect that when Bush gets reelected he'll end up with a democratic congress (a very slight majority, but there nonetheless) and they'll do the whole "lalalalal I can't hear you" shpiel.
I just hate the fact that Bush seems to think that just because he's president, the whole world should be like him--pro-life, pro-abstinence, anti-drug, and straight. If it weren't for the legislation that he managed to get passed under the "values" banner he wouldn't have been that bad of a president. Still dumb as a brick, but that's what Cheney's there for.
