Milverton's lair just gets more exotic by the second. He's even got a helipad on the roof, the final crowning touch for a rich jerk like himself.
Sherlock's safecracking reminds me of a former student of my dad's who (with my parents' permission, of course) actually studied a bit about safecracking in order to see if he could break into the Mystery Safe in my parents' bedroom that's been frozen shut for over thirty years. This guy is married to a doctor and actually used his wife's stethoscope to see if he could hear the lock tumblers clicking into place. Unfortunately, he didn't quite succeed in cracking the safe, though I think he's gotten as close as anyone ever has.
