A.N.:
First things’ first. For the sake of this fic, let’s pretend that angels have genders in here. Ok? Ok. Good XD And if Kohaku is automatically deformed at night, I’m making it a bit different for Yuya. I realize that the prologue is much like a retell version of WISH’s first chapter in the manga, but if have some reasons for that and I hope it’s not so horrible. Anyway this is a birthday (and also an extremely belated Christmas) fic for misaseba. ILUSM!! Have a very happy birthday and hope you’ll like this, Dear!

Once upon a time, somewhere in Tokyo, lived a young man named Kurosawa Akihiko. He was no other than an ordinary man living his ordinary life like other ordinary human beings. Everything revolving around him seemed normal, until the night he found a little creature on his way home who would bring him anomalous scenes in his life.

And by the mention of ‘a little creature’ was a plushy-sized-human with a pair of luminous wings. Not to mention that the little creature was currently stuck on a tree branch and…sobbing its tears off.

Kurosawa stopped dead track at the peculiar sight.

While he was stunned still, the creature came to notice his presence that it started to rub its tears away before smiling so sweetly at him.

“Good night,” it said. Kurosawa started to wonder how amazing technology had improved to create such a plushy…although a piece of his mind denied that it really was a plushy. “Could you be so kind enough to untangle me from here, Mister?”

Still dumbstruck, Kurosawa just complied with the request willingly. He untangled the little creature and helped it down before it floated in thin air, flying towards Kurosawa’s eye level. And again, it smiled.

“Thank you for your kindness, Sir! I’ve been on the tree for hours and no one helped me. Some humans even screamed they heard a ghost’s cries from the tree…and I am no ghost. Humans can be very funny sometimes.”

“……………If you are no ghost, then what are you? A talking doll?”

The pretty creature giggled all so cutely, “You are funny too, Mister.” It said, “I’m an angel.”

Silence.

“………………………………………Come again?”

The ‘angel’ giggled once more and proclaimed louder than it was indeed what it said it was. An angel.

Suddenly, Kurosawa felt like seeing stars.

Then he tried to flee, if only the little adorable did not try to stop him with all means.

“Wait, Sir!” it managed to dash to his front, “Why are you running away so suddenly? Are you in a rush?”

“I’m sorry, I don’t have any time for this stupid little game of yours. I have no idea what you really are by the way, and I don’t think I’d like to know either. Now if you excuse me…”

He was about to passed through, but the angel was persistent.

“No, please don’t leave! I wasn’t lying; it’s really true that I’m an angel.”

“And you expect me to believe that easy? What proof do you have?”

The angel pouted at the challenge before an illuminating light embraced the little body and soon a figure of a beautiful young man replaced the image.

Kurosawa gaped. The angel was still pouting.

“This is my true form. I can reduce my form like before and return to normal as I want to. Do you believe me now?”

The taller man could only rub his temple, wishing that it was only a dream-a weird one-but apparently it was not, much to his dismay. After all there are creatures beyond humans’ imaginations, such as angels, he thought. Those pretty chocolate orbs of the creature didn’t seem to be lying either, and not to mention that he had wings…Kurosawa had no other reason to say no.

So he merely nodded.

The latter smiled in content, “Good to hear. My name is Yuya, by the way,” the angel muttered, “And what is yours, Sir?”

“Don’t call me that. I’m Kurosawa Akihiko.”

Yuya articulated the name slowly, carving it to his mind. Then he flew around the man once before halting off right in front of him and asked, “Now, Kurosawa, I will grant you one wish in return of your kindness for helping me out before. I will grant whatever you wish for as long as it’s not bringing others chaos, of course.”

The dark haired man did not know what to say. It was quite a privilege for him to receive such an offer, indeed, but he really did not have anything he wanted in mind, which is quite shocking for him as well.

“………Nothing,” he stated coolly, “I’ve got everything I need. My own house, a very profitable job, and friendly colleagues. I can fulfill all of my own needs.”

The brunette angel pouted yet again. He had never met a human with no mutual wishes at all, for humans are famous for their myriad necessities. “But aren’t there certain wishes that can’t be fulfilled all by yourself?”

Kurosawa didn’t answer. Yuya was right, he thought, for there are certain wishes one can’t fulfill all by oneself. At least two persons are required to create a divine love; one would only create an unrequited love, just like what he had felt before. He had loved Naoko-san so deeply that it hurt, but in the end, she never returned his love. He loved her so deeply that he had been ready to given up everything he had, but his efforts seemed to never be enough to make her see him in the same way. He had been hurt so much he had vowed never to love again, never to trust anyone as much for more.

If he was a childish boy, he’d ask the smaller man to make Naoko-san fall head over heels for him. But he had grown into a fine, mature man; and his experiences in love had taught him a lot that he had decided to given up on her. Forever. He believed that she was not the one for him, so he had chosen to let her go. It’s not like he’s that desperate anyway.

Kurosawa shrugged, “I’m grateful that you’d grant my wish, but really, I have none for now. I’m satisfied with everything I have.”

“But…I’m not ok with that…” Yuya started, “if I return before granting your wish, God will punish me for sure! Besides, I can’t stand leaving you before giving you anything in return…so can I stay with you until you find one?”

“Stay…you mean living with me?? But I…”

Then he started to weep and beg, “Please~? Since I’m an angel, you don’t have to feed me and I can shrink like this, so I won’t need much space! And you won’t need to spend anything for me as well. I will also help you whenever you need me so please please pleeeaasseee let me stay?” tears started to form in the corners of the creature’s eyes; one won’t be able to reject the cute little thing away.

Kurosawa sighed, “Ok then…but only until I find my wish. Deal?”

The angel beamed happily and thanked him. Then he followed Kurosawa home merrily.

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

And so since then, the little angel had been living in Kurosawa’s home, waiting for the man to pronounce his wish. The angel did everything he could to help the man, and it meant the simplest things like house works. But little luck he had for he could not do the cooking, the image of killing animals and plants for food scared him to no end. Of course that meant he could not eat anything but milk and honey either-not like it mattered much though since angels did not need to eat.

At first, the man was quite troubled with Yuya’s presence, but as time went on he started to feel composed to have the angel around-greeting him home or asking him how did computers and modern devices works. The memory always brought smiles to his face.

Home never felt this merry. Before and ever since.

To Be Continued~

Teasers for the next chapter…because I’m desperate and bored =P :

Kurosawa picked his cell phone and read the name of the dialer, “Kurosaki? Tch, what’s this guy up to now?”

Kurosaki was mesmerized by his beauty. It had been so long since the last time he had such feeling…or was it never?

“You really remind me of an angel…”

“No…Kurosaki-san…stop…” Yuya begged him, “this is so wrong, please stop…”

A.N. : ……………..Now you know who the secret upcoming character is. LOL. ^^ And OMG, the image of a super-deformed Yuya killed me, lyke, TOTALLY. OMG. I WANT HIM!! And Misa-chan, I made it just in time, right? =DDD
