It was about 8 AM and I hadn't slept yet. I told myself I would watch the sun rise one morning during Christmas break and today (Monday, January 2nd) was the day I did it. I stayed up the whole night (12 am- 8:10 AM)talking to my friend online (thank you for the awesome conversation by the way!), looking out my window, watching the sky change

I know what I need to do to make myself physically and mentally feel better, but if I set ALL of those goals on a peice of paper on the first day of the year, they will eventually fade away to nothing. By the end of the year, I'll think (as I usually do) "Wow, this year could have been a lot better"
All that was probably a little confusing, so here's what I'm basically trying to say: One day at a time, don't push myself, but don't slack either.
