Today has been what one could consider a VERY SHITTY DAY.
The transmission on my 2001 Honda Civic is dead. I owe a little over $6K on a 2,000+ pound paperweight right now.
My options right now are NOT GOOD.
Remanufactured transmission = $3,372
Rebuild the transmission = $2,295 - $2,895
Used transmission = $2,695
I’m about to go walk out into traffic. We have the money for none of those options.
I guess it’s a good thing that my husband and I work opposing shifts.
I'm actually getting ready to leave work early so I can go look at cars. ALL BY MYSELF. Somehow, I don't see this working out well AT ALL.
