Updates to the max.
I've been neglecting this thing hardcore in favor of myspace lately, and that makes me feel dirty. :( MySpace is the devil.
Anyway, been busy busy busy lately with distractions both good and bad. Let's start with the good stuff:
I'm fostering a kitten for the animal shelter I volunteer at. She's 6 weeks old and cute as a button. Just needs to put on some weight, get social-like and be fixed before she can be adopted. I've got her til at least the 22nd and am dosing her twice daily with some goopy liquid meds that smell like bubble gum. Mmm-mmmmm. *grin*
Isnt she the cutest? I'm calling her Nyx for now but am trying not to get too attached. I've considered adopting her for good once the foster period is up, but I'm not sure... Bayda certainly loves her so we'll see.
I went thrifting today and picked up '101 Dalmatians' on VHS and 'Garden State' on DVD for $3 each. W00t! Also hit up the 50% off sale at Volta (*tear*) and got a necklace, dress and floral wrap thing that are all really cute.
As for the bad stuff... actually, I think I'll skip it. There's enough drama going on as it is without me adding to it (however slightly) by posting shit on LJ. All I'll say is that I hope those responsible find the maturity to deal with the situation they've created without doing more damage than they have already.
