After all, this whole night seemed a complete waste of a stakeout otherwise.
She was thankful he had fished out something to eat from the back. She was only seconds away from nodding off, so she wiggled a biscuit out from the sleeve and nibbled on it. Something, at least, to break the monotony. With her other hand, she raised the binoculars to her eyes again.
"Bloody warehouses," she muttered after a moment. "Where did Jack say he got this tip from, again? I think his sources are givin' us the run around, Ianto."

"So it's possible he just wanted to have a good laugh on our behalf."
He glanced down at his phone again. No texts.

"This is brilliant. I have a wedding to plan, and I really wouldn't complain about havin' a night or two to go home and plan it." Finishing her biscuit, she debated another, and then decided against it. After all, they could be there all night with nothing but biscuits to keep them sane. "If this is just Jack havin' us on, I will be less than pleased."

Not that he would volunteer that information, of course.
"I can keep watch for a while," he volunteered, his eyes on the warehouse. But he didn't reach for the binoculars just yet. "If you want to..." A quick hand motion that meant very little. "Plan."
