Its november 1st.

it is 7 and a half weeks from winter.

And its snowing. and sticking. Not much, but it is. the roads are slushy, the trees and grassy parts all all white, as are cars.

I gotta admit its really pretty.

but its FUCKING SNOWING.

Well, at least you know it's snowing! I haven't the slighest idea what the weather's like here... since ALL I DO IS READ ABOUT THE KIDNEY!!!!

Hmmm. Let's see if I can pull some remotely relevant information from my head. Ah, here we go: another good reason you stopped smoking - smoking is a risk factor (along with exposure to hydrocarbon solvents and prior viral infections) for Goodpasture's disease... which primarly affects men in their teens and 20's, and basically consists of your body starting to produce an immune reaction against the basement membrane that makes up the basic structural component of your a) kidneys and b) lungs. As you may be able to guess, that's bad. They'll try to treat you with corticolsteroids and filtration of your blood, but particularly if it's not caught until you have, say, a noticible decrease in urine output, you'll probably still die.
