but it makes me so sad how they bungled the final showdown and practically ever line Dumbledore had. *sigh*

yes, it was like a super compressed version of the original. like, as if they took what they thought could stick with viewers better, and put it into the final scene. While in fact, if you ask me, every line was needed and every action mattered... Well I was quite satisfied with the movie anyway: it was just a movie, not meant for that much complexity, and very good in itself, imho. :) And thank you for your kind words on my vid, it makes me soooo happy to be in this fandom again after many years of inactivity. Vidding HP was long overdue... ;) Thanks again.

I don't mind them compressing. I understand that. It was more little weird added things like Harry pulling Voldemort off the ledge and Seamus blowing up the bridge. Changes to Neville's lines, etc.

And Dumbledore was just a case of the actor putting zero research into his character. Way too many things made it into the films that Dumbledore would simple never say. Though I think Kings Cross still came off pretty well.

I can't believe I don't see more HP vids to the song "World" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JDY1KvoQYk&ob=av2e ). I'm stuck on this, but seriously the song even has the words "magic wand" in it. Seems weird I can't find any fanvids for it.

easily the best fanvid i've ever seen. period. the lyrics fit SO well and I love how you build it up and where you chose to have words up and just, amazing. <3___<3 brb, recking it to everyone i know.

wow, thank you! :) That is saying something :) and thanks for the promotion, I kind of need that, basically no one is watching my HP vids bc no one knows I'm making them lol (I come from another fandom...been a Harry fan since 1999 when the 1st book came out here in Italy, but I never actively participated in fandom as a vidder). <3
