I got chills reading this through. I love that Tonks initially didn't want to be in her house-- what an interesting, believable take!

AWW! I love the insight into a misunderstood house, and Tonks. I like the reasoning you gave for her to come back to Hogwarts as well as leaving Teddy. It just never made any sense to me in canon.
