I haven't read much fic lately, but I'm glad I clicked on this one. It's always lovely to see the different sides to a character than the one seen through Harry's point of view. You didn't change the aspects of Cormac that were shown, while still making him much more than the bit of a caricature canon had him as. I always love lesser characters getting their time to shine, and they all did here too - not just him.
