I'm not entirely sure why, but that part made me laugh (:

"The winning essays will receive 25 points each."
you may want to clarify if that's in addition to the 10 points for submitting it; that confused me a bit.

other than that, it looks great to me!

hey, this is pretty off topic, but do you think we'd be able to think of some sort of contest that we could give a new common room layout as a prize for? ideally it'd be something that's more of a house effort than an individual thing, since the prize would be for the whole house as opposed to one user.

I know we're doing the description contest now, and then we're going to work on sorting out the Spirit Cup, but this is just another idea I'm throwing out there :P I've been itching to make a layout, especially with some of the newer HP screencaps I've found (they're probably not new at all actually, but I hadn't seen them before :P).

if we don't get to it for a while, that's fine, but I think it'd be fun (:

Hey! That's an awesome idea! I'll try and think of something, but if you have any ideas, let me know! Hmm ... Honestly, nothing's coming to mind right now. I'm sure I'll figure something out, though. Give me some time. (And feel free t post a post to the entire community about, just in case they have anything to offer.)
