Sorry, I really couldn't get a feel for anything. When I read your answers to the first question, the thought that immediately crossed my mind was: is this person serious? You have to imagine a "why?" at the end of each question and expand immensely. We're only people looking at a computer screen, we cannot discern your personality from a few sentences to a few measly questions.
Of course, we'd love to have you here...we're just starting out so everything is a bit slow, and we really need more members. Please just expand on everything and re-apply. You seem like a very fun person to get to know and I hope that you do fix your application (if need be).

I kept re-reading your application to see if I could get a vibe from the application. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any. :(
Elaborate more on your answers. Why has Memoirs of a Geisha impacted your life? Why do you believe in Fate over free will? Why would you excel in Defense against the Dark Arts, and why would potions be your favorite? Just elaborate more on your answers. As Sam stated before, just imagine that there is a "why" at the end of each question.
I really would like to see you apply and possibly steal you for my house. However, I want to see some more elaboration on these answers. :)

I really couldn't pull much out of your answers, they were rather short =/ I'd go for at least two sentences, if not more, per answer if you don't get accepted and decide to re-apply (which I hope you do!). Next time around, elaborate as much as you can without being obnoxious. Maybe take a look at the length of some of the other applications that are up to get a better feel for how long you should aim for.

Unfortunately, I must vote no vibe as well. As members have said above, your application could use a little elaboration. Just imagine a "why" after every question and ramble on about anything connected to it. Tell us things you think would help us get to know you, because that's what we want!
