GENERAL QUESTIONS

Your Name?:Tiana Skye  Stirewalt

Age?: 20

Gender?: Female

Location?: Virginia

Horoscope?: Chinese Zodiac I am the Dragon and in the Western I am a Sagittarius on the cusp of Capricorn.

Likes?: I like to do many things actually and those include; hiking, reading, drawing, writing, studying psychology, practicing Wicca, going to the beach, hanging out at Barnes & Noble, talking to friends on the phone, and reading up on science textbooks. Though there are a few things that I enjoy as far as sports and those are Soccer and Basketball.

Dislikes?: I am not fond of people who try to shove you around for no reason. I do not take to that very well and probably never will. I have a horrible disliking for pretentious girls especially since there were a lot at my school. I am none too fond of lazy people, and people who shove their opinions out in the open KNOWING it is stupid. Not that their opinion may hold some ground but, knowing they said something completely ridiculous. That gets on my nerves.

Hobbies?: A lot of the likes that I had stated above are my hobbies essentially.

Favourite quote/saying/lyric?:"I am the king of jesters, king of all jesters I am, no doubt.
My people are the ones who like to laugh, my gold lies inside of me.
My country is the whole world, so who can give her more?
Give me your daughter, she may live in happiness.
I am the king of jesters, king of all jesters I am, no doubt.
King of jesters I am, no doubt. "  ~ Schandmaul's "Narrenkonig"

What are your strengths?: I find that I have strength in my ability to assess a situation calmly. You see there are a lot of things that cannot freak me out. Due to this I find that I am good at being the person in a group who gives the orders/advice/what you will. I also do NOT back down when someone gets in my face about something. Chalk it up to the girls I had to deal with in school but, because of that I will get snooty, rude, cruel, and contemptuous right back at you. This is a strength because a lot of the times people tend to leave me alone after that. Or my friend alone if they are picking on him/her.

What are your weaknesses?: I have a horrible weakness for being rather conceited myself. I suppose it comes with the territory sometimes I think for being a girl. We are brought up in a society that over glamorizes us and because of this we have to act the part. Whether we do it consciously or subconsciously is up to us but, it tends to happen from time to time in certain social situations. Another weakness of mine is drawing actually. It is a wonderful stress relief for me and if I cannot draw then I am not a very happy person. Same goes with music.

What do you like best about yourself?: My intelligence on languages and cultures, and second to that are my blue eyes. However, the cultures are a little more important to me than the color of my eyes.

What are your goals or aims in life?: My goal in life is to become a Criminal Psycologist. I had gone through a lengthy process of figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. And that is the one thing that stuck out with me above all else. Another aim in my life is to secure a comfortable future for myself. In these times it is difficult but you have to have good sense to be able.

PERSONAL QUESTIONS

Which character from Harry Potter, DISCLUDING the obvious answer of Harry, would you say you most admire and why?: For some reason or another I admired Hermione. She went from being this rather awkward 1st year, and a bit of a know it all (still is really), to later on a rather strong (with a strong punch) girl who had learned to not take everything around her so seriously, and was soon more willing to take a big risk. In a way she reminded me of myself in certain aspects of her character.

Which Hogwarts subjects would you be best and worst at - or otherwise like and dislike most?: My best subject would be Transfiguration because I would be so enthralled in it. Second to that would be a toss up between Divination and Care for Magical Creatures. My worst subject would probably be Herbology....I do NOT have a green thumb, and it does not extend it's already lack of knowledge to magical plants.

Which house would you WANT to be in, or which do you have most respect for and why?: I would WANT to be in Ravenclaw to be honest with you. I have respect for Hufflepuff though because they are the hard workers of the houses really. It is too bad they do not get enough representation aside from the now dead Cedric.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?:  I would change the fact that I have a bad habit of placing myself in bad situations. Nothing life threatening but I always make these really stupid mistakes, and because of it I usually end up  getting quite the yelling from my father still.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?:  How the political parties here act and view one another and themselves. I find it disconcerting really because Republicans are expected to act a certain way, and Democrats are as well. However, a Democrat may agree with a Republican and vice versa but, for Party populairty and saving face they both have to stick to the ideals of JUST their party. That is always a problem because I feel like it is so fake. If certain people can just break down that wall and forget PARTIES for a second Government here would not be so icky. Even overseas maybe. The parties are there for a reason but, not to represent two completely vastly different people. It is there for the sake of continuity in the Government really.

How much use would magic have in your current everyday life?: It would have a few uses actually if I think about it. Number one I could have used Reparo to fix my damn cellphone charger when the tip broke. I could also use the lock picking spell the day I left my keys in the house like an idiot. Come to think of it I think certain smaller spells would do me a lot of good. Now if I didn't misplace my wand.....

If you had one day left to live, what would you do?: Oh god um well I would probably go see a movie I like. Finish a few more chapters in my book, watching some shows, hang out with friends, and then just go to sleep and pass peacefully.

Tell us three random things about yourself: I used to like putting garlic mashed potatos and gravy on my pizza. I have a love for White Chocolate Mocha,  and I am the only Native American mix in my family with really pale skin.

THIS OR THAT QUESTIONS

Realism or Idealism?: Well a person can only dream for so long. Realism would soon become the way people have to go. After all if you keep trying to day dream of what could have been, could be, etc you will be missing the bigger picture.
Optimism or Pessimism?: I am on the line of both really. I like anyone else can get depressed over something, and I can also be very hyper for no apparent reason about something. Though most of the time I am just mellow.
Order or Flexibility?: Order is such a nice thing I can never stand a really messy/disorderly area. When I wake up first thing I do is make the bed, throw away old papers, toss out old magazines I don't need, vaccuum, put away dishes from the night before, dust, etc. Maybe I am just OCD? I only allow flexibility when it comes to people meeting me somewhere or something like that.
Planning or Spontaneity?: Planning! If you are spontaneous chances are your wallet won't be able to handle it (and nor will you friens/family).
Goals or Dreams?: Well you must have dreams to interpret what you want as a goal. So I would say both.
Practical or Abstract?:Again I walk the line between the two because I see there is a practicality in abstract thinking. After all it has it's own set of rules, and practicalities and so it would be sort of hypocritcal to say just one.
The Individual or The Collective?: The individual themself is what counts and not who their friends or family are. Family and friends are two very important aspects. Yes they can shape a man or woman into who they later become. However, once you reach the age to think clearly on your own, it is then up to you to decide for yourself what is the best course. And do not let your friends especially sway you into another direction. That is unless you are about to do something really stupid.
Standing your ground or Surrendering?: Standing my ground. There is nothing more annoying then someone trying to force me into defeat. If I must I will use whatever legal means I can to get them to back away first. I play for keeps and that is all there is to it.
Lover or Fighter?:Both. I will love someone with the compassion I can muster and I will fight to defend myself, family, and friends.
Impulsive or Cautious?:  Cautious as I said about spontaneous it is not a good idea. There are far too many things in this world to carefully consider before jumping the gun.
Mature or Immature?: Matureity. For both myself and people around me that is a respectable and good trait.  I will let slide a few immature things. After all no one is perfect but, if you start to act like a squealing thirteen year old and you are twenty-four it is time you had a glass of reality.

SITUATIONAL / IN-STORY QUESTIONS

Would you hex someone who was bothering you there and then?: Well I do not think I would hex them....the consequences are not worth it. There are more round about somewhat sneaky approaches to dealing with a person.

What do you see in the Mirror of Erised?: I see a person confident on the inside but, afraid to come out of her shell. In the future further along I see a woman who  grasped her ideal life, and has the things she coveted.

What special wizarding power - i.e. Animagi, Metamorphagi, being a Seer - would you want to have? An Animagi because that would be a bit useful to me. That and I am fond of animals.

In what situation would you use an Unforgiveable curse?: I am laying awake in my bed around 11pm, and a man breaks into my home. Now I cannot get to my phone because it is out in the living room area. I also realize that at this hour this fellow may play for keeps himself. So I grab my wand and I creep out into the darkened room. I see his form kneeling down over one of the tables. He turns and sees me pulling out his weapon. I know I have the chance of dying and I simply will not allow it. I will just use Avada Kedavra on the spot.

Be honest - if you were in the wizarding community, what view would you take on blood heritage? (If you don't know, perhaps put your current views of class and the like into context):Blood Heritage is an important aspect of a Wizarding community but, it does not mean EVERYTHING. Perhaps certain magics are more powerful when used by someone of strong and pure blood. However, there have been many half-bloods that have proven themselves very strong (*coughTom*cough). For example because they are half their magic in their blood, in my theory, is not stagnate therefore can grow at a rate which they can utilize spells more efficiently, and perhaps be more powerful than any pure blood walking around.

Imagine the Death Eaters come to your house, you being the head of an average wizarding family. They say join them, or otherwise give them ONE member of the family. What do you choose to do? What action perhaps would you take after making this decision? If I had children there is no way in heaven or hell I would give them up. So I would join them instead and try to keep my family as safe as possible. Though that may seem impossible.

Colin Creevey has been following you around all day, trying to get you to teach him a new secret spell he saw you do that he thought was cool. What do you do?: I turn around and promptly say, "Don't you have better things to do with your time Creevey? Such as studying maybe? Perhaps you should go take pictures and study the properties of Morning Glories. You're annoying." and then walk away.

Would you rather be attacking up close and personal, hiding far off using a type of long range attacks, or not on the battle field at all?: I would want to first be at a distance to better get a feel for my enemy. After all just rushing right up like "Heya!" is not going to win you points, and only take you down a few notches....more like six feet under. So I would look from a distance, and perhaps snipe a few attacks here and there. Once I feel confident enough to face the enemy head on that is when I will.

FINAL QUESTIONS

If you could become any character from the series for one day - 24 hours - who would it be?: Draco Malfoy. Why? Well I am really curious as to what goes through that boy's head. After reading all the books that has been a question that has plagued me. Especially during the last half the of the books. But ....I just ...don't think I could stand to be around Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Crabbe and Goyle respectively).

If you were given the chance to permanently become part of the HP-verse (as "yourself"), would you take it?: Yes I would actually want to do that. Just because I look around at my life now and I feel rather like I would enjoy it.
