i know - everyone is dying to hear about my first day of school. it went really well. it's so hard to actually feel prepared, and i didn't, but it worked out. i didn't get everyone done that i had planned (didn't get to social studies), but that's no biggie. there were no major disasters, no poisonous arachnids, no blood, no emotional meltdowns

I'm glad you're off to a good start. I had a year once when I only had two new students, so I know what you mean about picking up where you left off.
