Four people go on a trip. Two are married and share a bed. The married couple and one of the single people have pets and a pet fee is included in the room charges. The two unmarried people share a bed.
How should the bill be divided?

Unless they aren't all sharing one door, in which case I have no idea what I'm being asked*.
(*The latter case reminds me of the riddle about the plane that crashes exactly on the border between two countries: are the survivors buried in the country they're leaving or the one they're going to?**)
(**In the case of some borders the correct answer is "Both".)

Babies timeshared on request.
(*And may be the reason it does.)

It's all sorted out, now. I did go off on someone to relieve my own stress over it all, and after a bit I apologized.
My world is made better with laughing, dancing, happy ferrets.
